His quote last fall about coming to EduKick Manchester proves true.

My aim is to play for my nation and to achieve a good level in a big club as a professional soccer player. I am very passionate about my game and want to just be a footballer. I believe that Edukick can support me to be a professional football player.

Real Life Stories

In this case, we brought in Keith Rees to give real life stories and advice to the players. Keith is the Development and Recruitment Officer as well as Goalkeeper for Everton FC. He is a major participant in the English football system.
Keith spent the whole day at the school and spoke for an hour with the players. He offered them them insight into the values and ethos of the academy at Everton FC. He unfolded for them how communication works between staff and players about expectations and performance.
Pictures of our fantastic 2014/2015 year.
Neil Garside, EduKick Manchester Head Coach/BTEC Tutor, spent the last few months on these topics, so it helped to cements these principles into the minds of the student players.

Future Opportunities

As with all the experts we bring in, Keith’s wealth of knowledge brought much to the table. Not only his knowledge of the game, but also what he’s learned from his role at Everton, as an FA assessor of coaches, as a coach mentor, having worked with many top level players and working with Team GB at the Olympics.
We look forward to seeing Keith again, in 2015, as he has invited us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Academy.

Spanish Soccer Academy Year-Long Program Begins 2014/15 Season

It’s Go Time!

2014/15 Year Long Program has already started!
Monday saw the official start of Madrid’s Year-Long Soccer and Academics program. Our first training session was conducted by Coach Javier Martin, followed by the first day of Spanish lessons.
EduKick Madrid 2014
Senior players had the opportunity to go out for trial with local team A.D. Canillas. It was a challenging experience for all of them, and some players got tough results.
They’ll have to stand up again and fight for a place in a different team. Happily, Matthew Maybury was called for a second trial.
On Tuesday, players met Football Director Javier Mallo, who worked the first training session inside the gym, before hitting the field for training with Coach Javier Martin.
After training, Anubhav Singh took the Ice Bucket Challenge – showing the good atmosphere among the players this season, and this evening we will enjoy this season’s first visit to Madrid City Center.

Soccer training sessions will continue every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning and will combine strength and conditioning work as well as technique sessions.
After each training session, players go from the field to the Metro station – which lets them out right next to their home-away-from-home at the International House facilities.
It’s going to be a fantastic year! Interested in joining us?
